Certified Tutor

I started tutoring several years ago, and have tutored professionally in both math (K-12 level) and college level chemistry. I have greatly enjoyed it, and love seeing my students progress in their learning and make progress on their individual goals. I take an approach that emphasizes understanding of the material, and it has really paid off in its results.

In my spare time, I enjoy distance running; in high school, I ran track and cross country all four years in addition to three years of basketball. I also have played basketball for most of my life, and have ridden/worked at a barn on and off for 10 years. I am also highly involved in the engineering student council at my university, and am treasurer for both that and the running club.
