Certified Tutor

I graduated from University of Szeged, Hungary with a PhD in Computational Biophysics. After graduation I worked for several years as a postdoctoral researcher at University of Alabama Birmingham and at North Carolina State University. During those years I mentored undergraduate and high school student interns, which sparked my interest in teaching.
I have 8+ years experience in teaching college and high school Geometry, Math, Physics and Chemistry. During my career as a college instructor and currently as a high school teacher I gained substantial experience in teaching students with learning disabilities. Helping these students succeed both academically and socially is among the greatest rewards of my teaching career.

I am also a Linux Operating System (OS) and Free Software enthusiast, holding a Red Hat, Inc. certificate. At my current school I lead a weekly computer club where I introduce my students to the basics of computer upgrades, online safety, Linux OS.

In my free time I enjoy reading history and philosophy books, repairing/upgrading computers and building Lego creations with my 6 years old.
