What is your teaching philosophy?

My teaching philosophy is an approach which allows students to struggle through problems in order to reinforce skills. I intervene the first time a student gets a problem wrong, but will let them struggle with the problem the second time; thus solidifying their understanding.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

During a typical first session with a student, I would have the student take a diagnostic practice test to see what types of problems the student struggles with.
