I am a Senegal(west Africa) native who came to America in order to pursue a higher education. I spent 6 months in a ESL program back in 2009. My experience allows me to relate to people willing to learn a new language. I am easy going and fun to work with. I am currently a graduate student and I love to exchange knowledge. My native language is French and I would love to help you speak it and write it like you were from Paris!

What is your teaching philosophy?
In order to learn a new language, you have to speak it. My teaching philosophy is to adapt to the student's level and progress with steady and clear steps to achieve the desired goal. I am a believer in conversation and sentence structure as a foundation of learning a new language.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Depending on the student's level, I might start with poems, and song to enrich vocabulary while having fun!
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
Providing useful tools and tips.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
Every student is different. I try to find the interests of the student to keep them engaged and motivated.

Review the basics and teach the concept in a way that resonates to the student.
