In my previous life (before moving to St. Louis), I graduated with a Bachelors in Math Education and was able to work as a high school math teacher. I love math, but my favorite part of teaching was the students, most of whom despised math. I realized it was just because they didn't understand and/or didn't have the confidence in themselves to excel in it. I took that as a personal challenge, and looked forward to working one-on-one with my students. I was able to see the light bulb come on when a they "got it" and I could see their confidence growing. I love being a part of that process, which is why I became a teacher.

I look forward to helping more students succeed in math, and maybe even help them love it like I do. I am originally from Arizona, and I like to read, watch Netflix, and climb on big rocks.
