I've been a high school classroom teacher for the past seven years, and I enjoy helping students learn by making information relevant and retainable. Teaching and tutoring are very rewarding for me, and I've had great success with 9th-12th grade students in a variety of social studies subjects, including AP microeconomics. Before teaching, I worked in business, and have a degree in business management from Texas A&M University. Not surprisingly, my favorite subjects to interact with are economics and business, however my fascination with history makes it a close second. Having three kids has helped me develop patience and a deep understanding that not everyone learns the same way or has the same strengths. My personal hobbies include reading all kinds of fiction, playing basketball and ultimate frisbee, watching Neflix, hammocking, and of course, spending time with my wife and kids. Faith and family strongly influence everything I do. I look forward to working with you and contributing to your success!
