Certified Tutor

I have studied the Spanish language for the past ten years of my life. My education in the field comes from great programs such as the International Baccalaureate Program at Lucille M. Brown, Maggie Walker Governor's School for Government and International Studies and the School of World Studies at Virginia Commonwealth University. In these programs I have taken advanced and AP level courses in Spanish language, literature, culture, and translation. I was recognized for my accomplishments in Spanish academia by being inducted into Sigma Delta Pi National Spanish Honor Society and becoming the Vice President of the VCU Chapter. I would later graduate from VCU with honors and a degree in Spanish. Although I don't have formal experience teaching in a classroom, I have tutored university students in many different levels of Spanish courses. My love for the Spanish language extends outside of the classroom as I spent the 2015 Spring semester studying abroad in the Dominican Republic. There I was able to further advance my Spanish speaking abilities as well as immerse myself in the culture. I have a strong passion for the Spanish language. My ultimate goal is to not only continue to expand my knowledge, but to share my knowledge and passion with others. As I am not only a recent international student in a Spanish speaking country, but also a college graduate, I have a lot of knowledge and experience to bring to the table.
