Certified Tutor

I recently graduated from the University of Minnesota- Duluth with a degree in Statistics and Actuarial Science. I was a member of the UMD women's varsity Track and Field team and was the president of a club with over 200 members. I volunteered for the UMD tutoring center throughout my undergrad and received a Master Tutor Certification. Some of the subjects I have tutored include College Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus I-III, Differential Equations with Linear Algebra, Discrete Mathematics, and Statistics. I believe that every student has the ability to problem solve and think through math problems. Sometimes students just need help learning how to use their textbooks and resources. I want to help students learn at their own pace because in mathematics it is important to learn and actually understand the basics before you move on to more challenging subjects.
