I'm currently a student at Pomona College, a small liberal arts school in the quaint city of Claremont, CA. I'm pursuing a major in computer science and a minor in media studies -- a pretty accurate reflection of my varied interests in both STEM and humanities (this is pretty much the norm at Pomona!). I have always found tutoring to be incredibly rewarding, and I've been doing it for a little over two years now. From tutoring middle schoolers in chemistry and English, to teaching my own ACT prep course, I have quite a bit of experience teaching a variety of subjects. That being said, my strengths are definitely in standardized prep, whether it be the ACT, SAT, or AP exams. I am excited to share my strategies and expertise with students and help them get the score they want. Standardized prep can be a really daunting thing, but I want to show students that with the right preparation, they can succeed on every test they take. Aside from teaching, some of my other interests include playing tennis, baking macaroons, and trying new restaurants in LA!
