I have graduated with an associates in mathematics at Victor Valley College, and I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mathematics. My ultimate goal is to become a high school math teacher. In the entire process, I have been mostly tutoring students in my mom's childcare. The age range is about 5-11. Also, I do have friends that occasionally need help with math. The subjects that have been presented to me has been mostly arithmetic and algebra, and I have also helped friends in Calculus 1. Algebra is my favorite subject because I believe it is the most important foundation to have for future math subjects. Every other math course after algebra, requires algebra. Now, my teaching style tends to be a mellow but engaging atmosphere. For example, I would first like to workout a problem and then present them a similar problem for them to try but at the same time carefully pay attention as they work through it. Outside of math, I like to play some sports like basketball, soccer, and football. Some other activities include playing the drums, playing video games, and most of all hanging with friends. My passion to help students is strong because I enjoy helping them. I want to be there for them in the best way possible to help them become a better learner in math.
