Certified Tutor

I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor's Degree in education. With that being said, I am also a Florida certified teacher. I have also begun to pursue my Master's Degree in Sports Management. As a child, I had a great educational experience, and I want give other students that same feeling when they think about learning. Through college, I worked as a tutor for students struggling with Dyslexia, and it was amazing to watch them progress and become better readers. I have experience with students in grades Kindergarten through eighth grade in all subject areas. I know that learning is best accomplished when students can relate to the material. I also feel that students learn best when instruction is tailored specifically to them and is fun. I am available for tutoring in all elementary subjects as well as geography, middle school math, and pre-algebra. Outside of academia, I enjoy going to the beach and partaking in water sports as I reside in beautiful Southwest Florida. I also love taking my dogs to the park, reading, and exercising.
