I received my Master of Science in Marketing and Management from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce. I also received my Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs and Economics with a concentration in International Economics.

I believe students who are not interested in reading and writing are simply undermotivated, and those who believe they do not have the gift of language are misled by the idea that talent is inherent and cannot be cultivated.

I am most passionate about helping students with English essay writing and critical reading, in particular for high school students prepping for the SAT and providing guidance with writing Personal Statements for college applications. I also have experience tutoring students who struggle with the English language. I am also fluent in Chinese Mandarin and teach elementary Mandarin.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, singing (I've participated in singing competitions in Asia), and drawing.
