Certified Tutor

I attended Stuyvesant High School in NYC and received my Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University. I have tutored math to children in elementary and middle school helping them to raise their scores in the classroom, as well as high school students who aimed for higher SAT scores to better their chances of Ivy League acceptance. I am also fluent in Mandarin and am passionate about sharing my culture and language.

I am an architect by profession, but a teacher at heart. I am very grateful to have had quite a few great mentors while growing up and I now see how much impact they had on me in shaping my decisions in life and in my career. Tutoring is a way for me to still be in touch with the educator in me and provide an opportunity for me to make a difference in the life of a young adult and help to bring out his/her full potential.

Besides learning the subject matter at hand, I am a strong believer in lifelong learning, and I hope to bring with me a positive attitude towards education and knowledge at large. I am a believer in strong work ethics, and I would gladly help my students develop organization skills that could be applied further in their academic and professional careers.
