Certified Tutor

I am currently a senior at George Mason University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience with a minor in psychology. After graduation, I plan on taking a gap year to further gain research experience before pursing graduate school for a PhD in Neuroscience. Outside of academia, I play as handler for the GMU Women's Ultimate Frisbee team and enjoy crafting and DIY.
I tutor a variety of science and math subjects but I am most passionate about biology and neuroscience. Throughout my years of taking science courses in high school and college, I have become skilled at breaking down and organizing complex science concepts into much simpler and manageable concepts to understand. I believe this will really help the students I tutor to learn and grasp the material. It truly brightens my day to see the excitement in students eyes when they finally understand the material after putting in the effort. However, the most satisfying aspect of tutoring for me is not just being able to help the students understand the material, but to be able to inspire their excitement for learning with my passion.
