Certified Tutor

I have vast variety experience in working in numerous environments including education, retail, and customer service. I was a tutor/mentor at Mary E. Phillips High School in Raleigh, NC which is a Second Chance School for students who have experienced hardships at schools, home, or both. I specified in Biology, Physical Science, and Algebra as well as being a leader and somewhat of a counselor. Over the last year I volunteered at P.S. 114 in Brooklyn, NY as a Parent Coordinator. I basically assisted a teacher in the classroom with monitoring students and participating in activities. During that time I was in the process of becoming either a substitute teacher or para professional and and completed courses in Child Abuse Prevention as well School Violence Prevention.
