Certified Tutor

I'm currently a medical student at University of Arizona School of Medicine and am working toward becoming a surgeon. I love Anatomy and Physiology! My undergraduate degree was in Chemistry and Biology and I was a student tutor for General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry I and II. Since college, I've spent time as a volunteer tutor for high school and middle school students from disadvantaged backgrounds. I love teaching and I think there's nothing quite as exciting as helping someone truly understand a topic they've been struggling with. My favorite subjects to tutor are Chemistry, Biology, Algebra, and Anatomy. I also enjoy helping undergraduate students with the process of applying to medical school and working on personal statements.
When I'm not studying or tutoring I help run our school's free clinic. I love running, hiking, and being active!
