I received my B.S. in Chemistry from Purdue University and my M. S. in Chemistry from West Virginia University. Since graduation, I developed and ran the "Power Center" which was a peer-tutoring program for high school students that were in danger of failing classes. Through this program, the failure rate of students in this high school decreased significantly. I have worked with students at various learning centers tutoring and teaching Math and Upper Level Math classes. At the college level, I have taught Algebra classes as well as Physical Science classes. I am currently teaching Chemistry at the college level. I tutor all levels of math up to pre-calculus. I also tutor Chemistry. I have an excitement for education and learning and my goal is to make learning fun and understandable for students. I have incredible patience which helps students feel at ease and learn through my tutelage. In my spare time, I love reading, watching football on TV and swimming in a pool or at the beach. I also enjoy a good marvel comic book action movie!
