I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and have 12 years of experience teaching math to students from grades 7 through 12. I have the ability to explain mathematical concepts in an easy to understand step by step approach and use real world connections to increase students' motivation and understanding. I do believe that all students can learn and are teachable. Every student has the capacity to be successful and to achieve beyond their imagination. Students vary in their learning styles and abilities. With this in mind, I differentiate my instructions to meet the needs of individual students. Since Math is a hierarchical subject, I strive to introduce new concepts by building on students' previous knowledge.

One of my passions is the joy of working with students to help them achieve their full potential. I have a lot of experience working with students with different academic, social, and cultural backgrounds. I have worked with students who are advanced, proficient, basic, and students who are struggling with math. I know just how to make Mathematics interesting and easy to understand. Most of my students and their parents always say they wish they had me before as their math teacher. In my years of teaching, working with parents has been very useful in creating a learning community that enhances student's success. It would be my ultimate joy and desire to assist you in realizing your dreams of being successful in math even if you have always been struggling.

In my spare time, I love watching movies and hanging out with friends.
