In class, the student had started looking at pi circle. We first went over how to recreate it by only remembering the fractions for 45 degrees and 30 degrees. The student wanted to look ahead to work on a couple of assignments for the upcoming week. The assignment we looked at had her finding the sin, cos, tan, csc, sec, and cot.

The student and I began the review for his final. We covered 4 sections today on quadratic and linear functions. I assigned him homework for our next session. We also went over the problems that he did wrong on the last test. He could have made a much higher grade. We are scheduled to meet on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday to review for the final.

We discussed index notation, how to construct the real number system based on operations (addition--> counting numbers, subtraction--> integers, division-->rational numbers, etc.), and inductive logic as a way of using index notation. We also discussed rectangular approximation methods for definite integrals.
