Hi my name is Wendolyn and I am excited to start this learning journey with you! With 22 years of experience in teaching grades 1-7 and 9-12, I have had the opportunity to work with learners from all walks of life. My teaching adventures have taken me to North Texas and Washington, where I have had the pleasure of helping students reach their full potential.

As someone with a background in law and a Masters in International and Comparative Law, I have a unique perspective that I bring to my teaching. I am also National Board Certified and hold certifications in Texas Elementary, English as a New Language, Bilingual, and Spanish. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy snorkeling, home improvement, and traveling, all of which bring joy to my life and influence my teaching style.

I understand that online learning can sometimes be daunting for kids, which is why I make sure to keep my sessions fun and engaging. Whether it's using music to liven up a lesson or finding other creative ways to keep learners interested, I strive to make each session enjoyable for my students. Additionally, I use strategies such as checking for understanding and assessing informally and formally to ensure that online learning is effective and that my learners are making progress. I can't wait to share my enthusiasm for learning with you and make this online learning journey a memorable one!
