Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of College of the Holy Cross. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a focus on Deaf Studies. During my time at Holy Cross, I was a teacher's assistant for an American Sign Language (ASL) 100 course and also Co-President of ASL Club where I taught and guided students who wanted to learn the language. I am now a fourth grade Educational ASL Interpreter! While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate tutoring Spanish, American Sign Language, Math and Science. What I appreciate most about these subjects are the hard set of rules that need to be followed in order to convey competency. While there are hard set rules, tutoring doesn't have to be! I try my best to alter my teaching method to best fit the student. In my spare time, I enjoy reading which I believe is essential to improving the quality of life. I also enjoy being physically active, whether that be taking long walks, going to the gym, or just dancing!
