Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I have received my Bachelor's degree in Economics from the department of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The subjects I tutor are in elementary, middle, high school and college based mathematics which include classes such as pre-algebra, algebra, algebra 2, geometry, trigonometry and Calculus. I also tutor SAT & ACT reading, writing and math as well. My tutoring style is more lively and passionate as I am a motivational speaker. My teaching style is more focused on encouragement and getting the bigger picture. Subjects like math for example can be a extremely confusing subject to understand so it is in my interest to try and the material easier for students so they don't have to feel as nervous and scared. I have experience working in summer camps with elementary aged students so I am comfortable around being friendly with children. I have an interest in watching and playing sports, playing video games and drawing outside of academia.
