I am a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in 6-12 grade Language Arts. However, in the years since graduating, I have taught all ages of learners, from 3-year-old PreK through 12th grade. I love grammar, reading and writing and enjoy sharing that enthusiasm with students. I've also learned taught Spanish because I like to introduce kids to new languages. My enjoyment of history began with reading historical fiction and bloomed into a desire to learn more about the time periods I was reading about. I enjoy teaching all ages because my goal is to develop a love of learning in all students who I encounter.

Hobbies

I love cooking and trying out new cuisines, especially anything from Asian countries. Genealogy is something that I am fascinated by and I have traced my family roots all the way back to Charlemagne. Another thing I enjoy doing is writing poetry.
