Enthusiastic educator who loves making learning fun! I am passionate about making learning attainable to all learners. Finding learning strategies to meet your needs results in high levels of improvement. While making learning engaging and relevant, learners are able to retain content more thoroughly.
I love tutoring because I enjoy helping my learners become successful! Seeing ah-ha moments brings joy to me. Learning is not everyone's favorite thing but during the time we have together, we'll make the most of it!

I stem from a long background in numbers. Starting in high school, taking Post-Secondary courses to prepare me for college. I earned two undergraduate degrees; majoring in Financial and Marketing Management. I went on to earn my master's degree in Education. After I passed my MN Teaching exam, I began teaching high school math: Algebra 2, Advanced Algebra 2, FST (Functions, Statistics, and Trigonometry), AP Statistics, and Geometry. I continued my career teaching middle school Pre-Algebra and Advanced Pre-Algebra. While teaching middle and high school mathematics, I was able to tutor students who wanted to excel or those who needed additional support. My last year was spent in the online learning environment, making learning engaging on the computer!

I am knowledgeable and experienced with multiple levels of learning. I have broad experience modifying and adapting concepts to reach all learners. Not all learners learn alike and together we will find a way for you to understand and excel! Interested in Minecraft, let's relate math to Minecraft. Want to become a professional hockey player? Let's find the area of a hockey rink. Making learning relevant is the key to success!
