Certified Tutor

I recently graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and Social Policy and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Saxophone Performance. I am currently pursuing a Master of Music in Saxophone Performance at the University of Hartford and looking for ways to stay involved with teaching and mentoring students.
I have taught in a variety of traditional and nontraditional settings, including K-12 public school classrooms, schools for students with disabilities, juvenile detention centers, and private music lessons. In addition to music, I enjoy teaching math (specifically, algebra and geometry) and psychology. During my time at Northwestern, I took elective courses to further my knowledge of these interests.
As someone who strongly values listening and empathy, I am most passionate about forming genuine connections with students while empowering them with the tools needed for a successful learning journey. I can be counted upon to be understanding and supportive while also demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills.
In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, crochet, embroidery, and playing with my cat.
