Teaching Spanish is one of my great passions in life! I attended Western Kentucky University where I acquired a bachelors degree in Spanish and a minor in French. After beginning my career teaching High School Spanish I went back to WKU an earned a Masters degree in secondary education with an emphasis in second language acquisition (how people learn second languages). I also achieved National Board Certification as a Spanish teacher, and currently I teach High School Spanish and am a university instructor for Spanish 102.

I have taught Spanish to tobacco farmers locally, translated and interpreted for local farmers and businesses, and traveled in Honduras and Mexico both as a missionary and for business. I love the Spanish language and teaching it to other people!

Outside of teaching, I love spending time with my wife and three sons. I also enjoy working on my small farm, woodworking in my shop, hunting, and working with my herding and hunting dogs.
