As a passionate educator, I am dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals and build the skills necessary for lifelong learning. With a strong foundation in a variety of subjects, including science, math, and English, I am committed to providing personalized tutoring that supports students in reaching their full potential.

I hold a master's degree in Geochemistry, a bachelor's degree in Earth Science with minors in Chemistry and Political Science, and a 120-hour TEFL certification. My educational background, combined with over eight years of experience working with students from elementary to college level, has equipped me with the knowledge and tools to support students with diverse learning needs, including those with ADHD and other learning differences. As the founder and president of Theta Zeta, the Earth Science Honors Society at Central Connecticut State University, I organized tutoring sessions and created study materials to help my peers succeed.

My tutoring style is centered around making lessons engaging, encouraging, and tailored to each student's unique needs. I believe in providing positive feedback to keep students motivated and focused, while reinforcing the importance of perseverance in achieving academic improvement. By creating a supportive learning environment, I help students build their confidence and academic skills in a way that makes learning enjoyable and rewarding.

While I tutor a variety of subjects, I have a particular passion for science and mathematics. I love helping students make sense of complex concepts and guiding them through problem-solving techniques that enhance their understanding. I also find great satisfaction in working with students in English, helping them develop strong writing skills and critical thinking abilities.

Outside of my work as a tutor, I enjoy staying active and exploring new interests. Whether it's hiking, traveling, or engaging in creative projects, I believe that having a well-rounded life is essential for nurturing personal growth and cultivating a love for learning.
