I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a double degree in Neuroscience and Hispanic Studies on the Pre-medicine track. I currently am an incoming first year medical student. Tutoring is a wonderful service because it allows tutors to connect with students, assist them with their problems, and promote a student-teacher working environment. I care about helping other people and I am great at multitasking. I have an extensive amount of experience dealing with students. In high school I worked at Kumon where tutored children from grades kindergarten to 12th grade in Mathematics and English. For the past couple years I have been a tutor at ASAP at UIC as a Mathematics and English Tutor for college students. Both of my work experiences have taught me patience, leadership skills, and taught me how to work well with other employees and customers --patients and students. I enjoy helping people and I believe this job will be a perfect opportunity for me to accomplish this.
