Hi, I'm Michael, a rising sophomore at Duke University with some time to tutor this summer. My major is Biomedical Engineering, and I have a lot of experience teaching math, science, and SAT primarily. Previously, I have competed in competition math, reaching the American Invitational Mathematics Examination, and the USA Biology Olympiad, reaching the semifinals level. I've taken classes in pretty much every math and science subject as well and done very well. My teaching style is to first assess where you are in terms of your understanding of the subject matter through questions about your thought processes. Through that, I hope to ensure that you have a complete understanding before moving on to practice questions. This is the most crucial part because it enables you to be prepared for all types of questions. Then, we would move on to practice questions that reinforce your understanding and give you a chance to apply your knowledge. I'd love to help you reach your academic goals!
