I am an award-winning journalist and book author who's tutored many young people in writing and reading. I love seeing the excitement in them as they acquire new skills and gain confidence. I have a unique approach that focuses on clarity first and then learning to add more force to one's writing. As someone who has studied two foreign languages and took honors English courses as a student, I have a deep understanding of grammar; I am also able to help my students understand how mastering it can be fun. As author of an award-winning novel and a lifelong passionate reader, I can also instill a love of reading in those who might not have discovered it yet. It starts with truly mastering the content, even if you have to slow down a bit to do so. I would be honored to tutor you and/or your student!
