Certified Tutor

"Social responsibility is an obligation of every individual to act for the benefit of society at large." We as humans have a duty to help one another, to be kind to each other and to other living things. To teach each other as much as we can and have only positive effects on each others lives. Teaching requires patience, love for the subject and compassion that not many individuals possess. This position allows me to be as helpful to others as I can while providing the tools for self-improvement personally and professionally. In my past experience tutoring English to victims of armed conflicts in Colombia I have learned the beauty of teaching and being able to lend a hand to others interested in bettering their human experience. After doing this I took it to the next step and tutored Spanish to English speakers in the United States, who needed to perfect their second language. Tutoring Spanish and English are my passions and the subjects I have the most knowledge of. My majors are currently International Relations & Human Rights and I am in the process of learning American Sign Language (to hopefully teach it to others one day!).
