I am a recent graduate from the University of Illinois in Engineering physics. I have been tutoring in math and physics for 5 years. I have 3 years of experience as an online tutor, where I have a 97% satisfaction rating. For the past 2 years I have been working as a private physics tutor through my department. I meet with college and high school students weekly to help them excel in their physics classes and made myself available to provide extra assistance before exams. I assist with homework, test and quiz preparation as well as providing a unique perspective on concepts and coursework to ensure my students thoroughly understand what they are learning.

I find tutoring incredibly rewarding and strive to always be patient, understanding and dedicated to my students. I am emotionally invested in my students and their success. I adjust the way I explain topics depending on how a student responds to different teaching methods and am always willing to explain things a new way until it makes sense to that specific student. My years of tutoring have honed my communication skills and shown me the most common knowledge gaps students have and the best way to go filling those.
