Certified Tutor
Hello! I am currently a fourth year medical student in Chicago. I attended the University of Notre Dame for undergrad, where I was a double major in Chinese and pre-medicine. When I am not studying, I enjoy spending time with family, volunteering, traveling, baking, and being active. I love sharing with others the knowledge and advice I have received in my education.

What is your teaching philosophy?
Continued self-study by the teacher is essential. I find it very effective to incorporate real-world examples as much as possible so the student feels invested in learning. The goal is not simply to know, but to understand.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
General overview of goals and expectations, get a feel for the learning style of the student, and get started with the subject matter.
