Education has been the catalyst of my life's greatest opportunities. Earning my Bachelor's in Finance from Florida State University and Juris Doctorate from UC Berkeley School of Law has not only facilitated me with great professional and personal opportunities, it has also provided me with invaluable experience that enables me to relate to aspiring law students and motivate them to reach their potential.
I particularly passionate about tutoring individuals on the LSAT test because of the positive effect law school has had on my life. I believe I am an effective LSAT tutor because of my understanding of how to best attack the exam, structured approach to studying and positive disposition. I aim to build a mentor relationship with each student as I strengthen their test taking skills and inspire confidence in themselves.
When I'm not helping students as a tutor, I enjoy traveling, exploring nature and watching sports.

Provide a strategic, structured approach that can be applied to studying any test subject.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
I would keep the students motivated by staying positive, highlighting their progress, and sharing personal relevant experiences.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Gain an understanding of the student's current performance level, studying habits, and ultimate goals in order to tailor a custom approach that will be successful.
What strategies have you found to be most successful when you start to work with a student?
Providing a strategic approach on how to take the test has proven to make students more confident, focused, and efficient in their-test taking ability and studying habits.
How would you help a student get excited/engaged with a subject that they are struggling in?
I would provide a structured plan of how to attack the subject to inspire confidence that improving on the subject is manageable and likely.
What techniques would you use to be sure that a student understands the material?
Using diagnostic tests is a valuable tool to gauge a student's understanding of test material. It is equally important to review the test results and correct and incorrect answers with the student.
