I obtained my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at the University of Connecticut (UConn) and I now work as a Lecturer for the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, School of Mathematics.I also obtained both my Bachelor's and Master's of Arts degree from Rhode Island College (RIC) and have worked as a Math Tutor and Teacher's Assistant throughout my time at RIC. I am a double graduate of Columbus State University where I majored in Political Science and received my Master's degree in Public Administration. While in school, I began a non-profit called "MyCivics" where we specialized in tutoring students in the social sciences such as politics, government, history and other areas. Currently, I am in school for my Ph.D. in Public Policy and work full-time in local government as a public administrator.Why do people make the decisions that they make? That's the question that I have dedicated to spending my career hoping to answer. As a student of politics and government, it is my job to not only learn, but also help others learn about the decision-making processes that affect their lives every day. I believe that good citizens are those that remain well informed about the world around them and seek solutions that aim to make the world a better place.In my spare time, I love to read, travel, exercise, spend time with my wife and puppy, and play video games every now and then.

I am a Senior Process Engineer with a degree in Chemical Engineering and have taken various courses in the fields of science and mathematics. This is a platform that I have found to give back what I have learned over my years in academics. I am the type of an individual who enjoys spending time with students and can make learning fun. In my time off, I enjoy traveling, working out, and playing basketball.

I have always loved mathematics. Someday I will obtain my PhD in that subject. My school background is rough since I was born with a hearing disability. I was not the best academically, but I was involved in soccer. This hardship increased due to procrastination. Procrastination is a nasty habit that haunts everyone. That is more reason why I should tutor others. I have a deeper understanding why students struggle in their subjects. I know where the roadblocks are and how to overcome them. I no longer have trouble hearing ever since I undergone ear surgery and changed my life dramatically. I still feel like I am playing catch up, but that seems not to be the case in all areas. Everyone is playing catch up in at least one area of study.

I am a graduate student at Missouri State University studying to earn a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. I received my Bachelor of Science in Operations Management from the same university and graduated summa cum laude. I am currently a graduate assistant in the marketing department and have experience tutoring students in the subject matter. The most popular class I tutor for is the entry-level Principles of Marketing. I am passionate about most all areas of business and have significant knowledge in many areas. My biggest strengths are in finance, marketing/advertising, and macroeconomics.In high school I often tutored students in math and spanish. Math has always been something I flourish in and am capable of teaching to others. I love languages and learning about different cultures, but I unfortunately lost my fluency in Spanish. It is something I one day hope to recover.I love everything about learning new things. I often think back to before I went to business school and can't imagine not knowing what I know now. It is corny, but knowledge really is power. For this reason I have fallen in love with teaching. It is the absolute most rewarding moment when a student learns something new. My plan for the future is to enter the corporate world for a few years and then hopefully find myself teaching business in high school or college.When I am not working or studying I love to be outdoors. I am lucky to live somewhere that has so much beauty for me to explore. My favorite thing to do is hike with friends in the summer.

I served as Mathematics/Science Education instructor on the post secondary level, did consulting specializing in supplemental education solutions for Mathematics, Science, and STEM, taught and tutored within schools, and lead a district charter managing multiple campuses.Although my work experience has been mostly face to face, with groups of dynamic teachers, passionate principals, and students that are sponges for content, I am looking to expand the populations I serve. I would like to reach more groups and individuals that are equally dynamic, passionate and tenacious.
