Hello! My name is Sanjeet. I'm an undergraduate student at Cornell University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, majoring in the Biological Sciences. I'm currently following a pre-medical track, and in the future, I hope to continue my education in medical school. Before attending Cornell, I received a High School Diploma with Honors from BASIS Phoenix. I took 16 AP classes at this high school ranging from AP Calculus BC to AP Physics 2 to AP English Literature and Composition. Of these 16 classes, I received a score of a 5 on 14 AP exams and a 4 on 2 AP exams. In addition to this, I took the SAT during my junior year of high school and received a score of 1590.My prior tutoring experience primarily comes from high school. I did voluntary tutoring for middle and high schoolers in subjects pertaining to the hard sciences, such as biology, physics, and chemistry. Moreover, I have a younger sister whom I've tutored often. While I can teach and tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about the hard sciences. I particularly enjoy tutoring Biology; after all, it relates to my major and future career aspirations.I tutor because of my beliefs surrounding education. I'm a firm proponent of education and believe that it is our duty to continually educate the younger generations so that they may succeed more than us. Coming from a 19-year-old, this may seem strange; however, my beliefs stand firm. This desire to educate the younger generation primarily came from my experience tutoring and teaching my younger sister. Through my actions, I hope that I can help elevate at least one person so that they may succeed in life and achieve great things.Finishing off with a little bit more about me, my hobbies are diverse and plentiful. I love to learn new languages and am currently teaching myself Japanese and Tamil. I also love to draw, weightlift, run and play video games with my friends.

I am currently a rising sophomore at Northwestern University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Statistics. In both middle school and high school I was able to work with students with disabilities through programs that helped the students learn valuable life skills through relationship building. As a result of those experiences, I have always enjoyed using my knowledge to help teach anyone who needs it, tutoring various friends and neighbors throughout high school. I love to tutor Math, Economics, and Physics because there is so much to explore in these subjects and so much relation to the "real world" that it is enjoyable to see students discover the usefulness of these studies. In my free time I love to go on hikes, play any sport I can find, and nerd out over all the recent Baseball Statistics.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing basketball, reading books, and hanging out with my friends.

I graduated from Ohio State University, with my Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering and I earned my Master's in Chemical Engineering from New Mexico State University. I have been a tutor since my sophomore year at Ohio State University where I tutored in all levels of Calculus. In my junior year, I lead Ohio State's Math Stats Learning Center Calculus sessions. As a graduate student, I guest lectured and held a teaching session for the Chemical Engineering Computer Calculations class, where I was afforded the chance to use calculus and differential equations to help students solve problems on MATLAB. My favorite subject to tutor is Math because I like the way numbers work and I like translating words to numbers. Math helps me broaden my thinking. My tutoring style is to talk to my students, let them know my expectations and motivate them to do things they would not have thought of doing. When I am not studying, I love to work out and challenge my body. I do love to watch YouTube videos, specifically music videos from the 90's and before. I like to socialize with my friends and relax around downtown areas of smaller cities.

I aim to apply to MD-PhD programs this year, and specialize in Perinatology and Neonatology!I have always grown up in an environment that appreciates and encourages learning, and I love helping others achieve their academic goals! I have a lot of experience with AP classes, and I took over 15 courses and received college credit for ALL of them! It feels wonderful to be able to teach and mentor others. I believe education is the way to success and I wish for the success of all. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology at California State University, Sacramento. From there, I began working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other intellectual/developmental disabilities. I earned my Masters degree at University of the Pacific in Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. While there, I taught research methods and statistics at the undergraduate level for 2 years. I am now finishing my PhD in Clinical/Counseling Psychology. I have completed several research projects, published research, and co-written chapters in books. Clinically, I have taught parents in several behavior strategies to help decrease their child's problem behaviors and increase acquisition of skills. I have worked with children as young as one and adults as spritely as 65. I am happy to tutor a variety of subjects (e.g., math, English, and general study/organization skills). I am determined to see a smile at every session! Additionally, I expect everyone is feeling more confident by the end than when they started. Confidence is key! I love teaching my children to be curious and confident. When I am not teaching or playing with my children, I love to read, watch Marvel or Disney movies, ride roller coasters, and go on camping/fishing trips.

I am a recent graduate of Stanford University with a BS in Chemical Engineering. During my time at Stanford, I tutored high school students in subjects ranging from non-AP and AP math and science courses to ACT/SAT test prep. Since graduating and before heading off to grad school, I have been tutoring full-time. In my free time, I love to watch sports, play sports, cook, and play with my dog.In my 5 years of tutoring, I have worked with over 200 different clients. This has allowed me to see the wide range of learning styles students have and has allowed me to develop a flexible teaching approach that will excite and help every type of student. I do not just get the homework done with the student or show the student how to do a problem. I go step by step to ensure the student understands why we approach the topic the way we do. Not only does it help the student frame the purpose of the topic, but it also helps the student commit that topic to memory long-term.Come work with me, and you'll be sure to see long-term results!
