Trigonometry Tutoring review by Lindsey in Weber State University, UT
Tonight we worked on a review of the student's math homework. It was a continuation of the past two days of working on integers and absolute value, but now we are mixing in ordering data sets from least to greatest and vice versa. After reviewing the number line, he had a better grasp on the material and was able to complete the problems correctly. We then reviewed his science notebook for his open notebook test on Friday. He was much more familiar with the locations of the material today.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Jill in Weber State University, UT
Tonight we worked on adding and subtracting rational (decimals and fractions) numbers. The student does a good job of adding, but needs practice subtracting. He needs practice changing the subtraction problem to an addition problem before solving. We will continue to work on this skill Friday. We played Zip, Zero Zilch at the end of the session. We will continue to work on recognizing equivalent decimals and fractions. He needs to do some serious thinking to combine positive and negative decimals/fractions to equal zero.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Paul in Weber State University, UT
Tonight we worked on problems from Section 3.9 in the student's textbook. These problems were on differentiating logarithmic functions with chain rule. Then, we worked on two very difficult problems in that section. The student was extremely conscientious and perseverant in processing the algebra in the last problem. It was a pleasure working with him.
