I am an experienced mathematics educator with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Tuskegee University and a master's degree in Mathematics Education from Alabama State University. My teaching experience includes middle school, high school, and adult education, with strengths in pre-algebra, Algebra 1, geometry, and GED mathematics preparation. I help students strengthen foundational skills, overcome difficulties with mathematical concepts, and prepare for more advanced coursework. My teaching approach focuses on explaining concepts step by step, identifying areas where students need additional support, and building confidence through practice. My goal is not simply to help students find answers, but to help them understand why those answers are correct.
