Over five years tutoring middle school to college peers for my school district and NC State's engineering center, I've loved helping students get past the frustration of tough topics. I don't believe in memorizing just to pass; instead, when I found STEM study methods that worked for me, it sparked a puzzle-like, problem-solving approach.

I love solo traveling, reading philosophy, baking, and teaching piano to kids. Outside of my academic research papers, I also love to write; I recently finished a short story exploring whether total automation and delegating our agency to algorithms risks surrendering our human essence.
