About Me

Hi! My name is Sammie and I'd love to help Deaf/HoH students k-12 with tutoring or brushing up on their academic skills over the summer! I am an ASL interpreter so I know the language well and am able to explain topics both in ASL and English. This summer I want to try a more active role of helping students achieve their goals! I was a paraprofessional for many years and in college I was the Peer Academic Coach Mentor. I have a bunch of materials from that where I can teach study skills if thats what you prefer! I've been in all settings and am able to adapt the language for whatever the student needs! Can't wait to work with you and create a specialized plan! I'm here for you/your child!
