About Me

I am passionate about tutoring because I have seen firsthand how individualized academic support can transform a student's confidence and performance. I have several years of experience working with students in math and STEM subjects, and I am deeply committed to helping learners not only understand the material, but also believe in their ability to succeed. My interest in tutoring began early and grew into action when I founded my own tutoring organization, Fail Me Not Tutoring, during high school. Through this organization, I worked closely with middle and high school students, providing one-on-one and small-group instruction tailored to each student's learning style. I also created structured study materials, tracked progress over time, and focused on building strong foundational skills rather than short-term memorization. Leading this organization taught me how to explain complex concepts clearly, remain patient during challenges, and adapt my approach to meet each student's needs. In addition to tutoring, my background as a pre-medical student and healthcare worker has strengthened my communication, problem-solving, and empathy skills. I regularly work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and have learned the importance of active listening, encouragement, and positive reinforcementskills that translate directly into effective tutoring. I strive to create a supportive, low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process. I am motivated by seeing students grow in both understanding and confidence, and I take pride in being a consistent, reliable mentor. I believe that education can be empowering when delivered with patience and structure, and I am excited about the opportunity to continue supporting students academically and personally through tutoring.
