About Me

I have a passion for helping students find their confidence in becoming fluent readers and writers. With over 13 years of experience teaching English to students of other languages. (ESL) I have the skills and knowledge to break down the foundations of literacy concepts in a way that students can comprehend. As a teacher, I believe that reading and writing is one of the most important skill a students will learn during their lifetime, defining this as their foundation for their education; this foundation will set the tone for the rest of their school experience. I am grateful to have the opportunity throughout my career in helping student close their reading, writing and Language gaps and helping them become confident/successful learners. From my experience, most students want to perform well in school; sometimes all they need is extra support, and a teacher that can tailor to their instructional needs. I am excited for this new opportunity and look forward to working with you.
