I'm passionate about helping students develop deep, meaningful understandings of music theory, history and culture. I've taught for many years in higher education, and I've tutored music theory, composition and production, as well as research and writing. I've also run after school clubs in electronic music and world music, and taught private guitar lessons in classical and popular idioms.
