About Me

Tutoring has been one of the most meaningful and consistent threads throughout my academic journeyfrom helping young children build their first foundations in reading and math to supporting medical students preparing for the most challenging board exams of their careers. I have always believed that strong learning begins with meeting students where they are, understanding how they think, and giving them the tools and confidence to succeed at every stage of their development. My experience spans a wide range of ages and subjects. With younger students in kindergarten through middle school, I focus on building fundamental skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and early science through patience, encouragement, and interactive learning. For high school students, I emphasize stronger academic strategyteaching critical thinking, test-taking skills, STEM concepts, and effective study habits that prepare them not just for coursework but also for SAT/ACT-style reasoning. With college students and pre-medical learners, I offer structured support in biology, chemistry, physics, biochemistry, anatomy, physiology, and research skills, ensuring that complex concepts become intuitive and applicable rather than overwhelming. At the graduate level, I specialize in tutoring medical students through the full medical school curriculum, including systems-based pathophysiology, pharmacology, microbiology, biostatistics, and clinical reasoning. I also provide personalized preparation for Step 1 and Step 2 CK, helping students break down high-yield content, master UWorld-style questions, analyze test patterns, and build efficient study schedules tailored to their goals.
