With over 5 years of dedicated tutoring experience, 20 years of classroom teaching experience, and a Master's degree in Reading Education from East Carolina University, I am passionate about fostering a love of learning in young children. As a certified Reading Specialist, I focus on elementary school English, reading, writing, grammar, and phonics. My teaching philosophy emphasizes the importance of curiosity and confidence, tailoring my approach to meet each student's unique needs. I believe that when students feel supported, they can unlock their potential and discover the joy of learning.
