About Me

I've been an elementary school teacher for more 20 years and was honored as the 2021-2022 Teacher of the Year in my school. I tutor elementary math and reading. I particularly enjoy helping students strengthen their math skills, and their reading fluency and comprehension. I earned my Master's degree in Teaching from Montclair State University and later became a certified Dyslexia Specialist through Fairleigh Dickinson University. I believe in meeting students where they are, building their confidence, and making learning engaging and approachable. What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students on both an academic and personal level. I strive to find a personal connection with each student. When students trust their tutor, learning becomes easier and more meaningful.
