Hello, my name is Mary Jane Maher, and I have dedicated over 28 years to public education, currently holding a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Iowa. My passion for teaching is reflected in my commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment where students can thrive. With over 5 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in subjects such as Adult Literacy, High School English, American History, and Middle School Reading Comprehension. My teaching philosophy centers on connecting with students through engaging, personalized methods that cater to their individual learning styles. Every day, I am inspired by the progress my students make, and I am motivated by the opportunity to help them achieve their academic goals.
