Julius

Looking for support in psychology, biology, math, or writing? I'm here to make concepts clearer, more manageable, and engaging. I'm Julius R. Rodriguez. I currently lead research in psychology, biology, and comparative behavior at the University of Edinburgh. With over three years of tutoring experience, I have successfully guided high school and college students in subjects ranging from psychology to biology to scientific writing. My teaching philosophy centers on meeting students where they are, fostering a supportive environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking. I believe that effective tutoring must be more than memorization; it's a combination of helping students ask insightful questions and draw meaningful connections across disciplines. I'm looking forward to collaborating with you on your academic journey :)

["When I’m not studying or tutoring","you’ll usually find me in the kitchen testing out a new recipe","tending to my garden","or diving into creative projects like writing or drawing. I also have a habit of falling down research rabbit holes. I love learning about random topics just for the fun of it. Music is always playing in the background. I adore my Spotify subscription!"]
