I hold a Master's degree in Administration and Leadership from Northern Arizona University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in History from Arizona State University. I have also taught economics and various facets of world history. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable exploring complex topics. I utilize diverse strategies, including outlines and discussions, to help students connect prior knowledge with new concepts. My passion for teaching stems from my love for history and the joy of seeing students develop a deeper understanding of the world. Outside of academics, I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for history with my daughter, making learning a fun adventure for both of us.
