Today, I'm a licensed social studies teacher for grades 612 and deeply committed to helping students thrive across subjects. As a licensed secondary educator with a strong foundation in social studies and math, I take an interdisciplinary approach to tutoring. I've helped students build skills in history, writing, critical thinking, and foundational math. I emphasize multiliteraciesreading, writing, interpreting visuals, and using digital toolsto prepare students not just for exams but for lifelong learning. Every session is focused, customized, and designed to build skills that connect across subjects and support long-term growth. I've developed a keen understanding of how to break down difficult concepts, build study habits, and support students with different learning styles. I specialize in making content relevant by connecting student interests and background to the topic being studied, coaching students through challenges, and tracking measurable progress. Outside of full-time teaching, I'm passionate about a balanced, active, and creative lifestyle. I enjoy fitness as a former field hockey player and coach. I'm a lifelong learner, a music lover, and an avid reader. In my downtime, I usually read a book, catch up on anime, or study a different culture.
